Course: SRC Intensive

Start Date: 5th January 2026

Times: Daily from 8am to 3pm

Course Assessment: Friday 9th January 2026

Prerequisites: ·See below.       

• Minimum 13 years of age (on the day of final assessment)

·        Financial member of the Surf Life Saving Club

·        Complete an unaided swim of 200 m in 5 minutes or less (goggles and masks permitted) in a swimming pool of not less than 25 m, or over a measured open water course which will be observed prior to you undertaking any water training or assessment activities. Evidence of this must be provided to the assessor prior to commencement of the assessment for this qualification/SLSA award. Must be freestyle swim stroke.

Course Fee: $80 for existing members | $100* for new members (paid via member portal)

• New members will receive a $20 membership credit on achieving 20 rostered patrol hours for the 2024/25 season.

Enrolling Into The Course:

You can enrol and pay for the SRC course via your member portal. Log in and then click on the $ symbol (top right) and then select pay online and choose the relevant course fee. Please also pop in the date of the course you wish to do in the payment details section.

After you have registered and paid please complete the ONLINE enrolment form (below) and submit at the end of the process

Once your payment and enrolment form has been received you will be sent the course welcome pack with all the details you need ahead of your course,
