Course: 2026 Winter Bronze Course

Start Date: Monday, 25th May 2026
The course will run for approximately 4 Weeks on:
Monday Evenings - 6:00PM to 8:30PM
Thursday Evenings - 6:00PM to 8:30PM
Sunday Morning - 7:00AM to 11:00AM
Assessment Date: Final assessments are anticipated for the week commencing 22/06/2026 (subject to change based on candidate progress and conditions)
Prerequisites:
Meet the minimum age requirement of 15 years at the time of final assessment
Complete an unaided swim of 400m in under 9 minutes (pool lifeguards can sign off on this via the ‘Pool Assessment Form’ below or can also be signed off by our trainers during the course)
Be a financial member of Cottesloe SLSC (for further assistance in becoming a member contact Kim on manager@cottsurf.com or phone the Club on 9383 4400).

Payment Instructions
Create your own personal SLS Hub account https://hub.sls.com.au/ using your personal email.
Once in SLS Hub go to ‘More’ and hit ‘Memberships’ and then ‘Organisation’.
It will show Cottesloe SLSC with options below, hit ‘Make Payment’.
Under ‘Transaction’ make the type ‘Course Fee’, the description ‘Your Name & the course start date’, enter the amount listed below and hit ‘Next’.

(This cap and vest MUST be worn during all wet sessions per SLSWA safety requirements)

A final assessment across theory, dry and wet components
A requirement to demonstrate competency in all areas, not just attendance
