Bronze Medallion Courses: The next Bronze course will run from the 5th to 10th January 2025

Course: Bronze Intensive

Start Date: 5th January 2026

Finish Date: 10th January 2026

Times: Daily from 8am to 3pm

Assessment TBC: TBC (Likely to be 10th or 11th January 2026)

Prerequisites: Suitable for those with prior SLS experience and/or Provide First Aid qualifications; PLUS the below

·        Minimum 15 years of age (on the day of final assessment)

·        Financial member of the Surf Life Saving Club

·        Complete an unaided swim of 400 m in 9 minutes or less (goggles and masks permitted) in a swimming pool of not less than 25 m, or over a measured open water course which will be observed prior to you undertaking any water training or assessment activities. Evidence of this must be provided to the assessor prior to commencement of the assessment for this qualification/SLSA award.

Course Fee: $240 existing members | $300* new members (paid via member portal)

• New members will receive a $50 membership credit on achieving 20 rostered patrol hours for the 2024/25 season.

Enrolling Into The Course:

You can enroll and pay for the Bronze course via your member portal. Log in and then click on the $ symbol (top right) and then select pay online and choose the relevant course fee. Please also pop in the date of the course you wish to do in the payment details section.

After you have registered and paid please complete the ONLINE enrolment form (below) and submit at the end of the process

Once your payment and enrolment form has been received you will be sent the course welcome pack with all the details you need ahead of your course,
