2022 Albany Long Weekender

With a race that started as normal, full of rainbows and excitement… Nobody saw the several kms of 3 - 4M swells coming in sideways after entering the sound.

There wasn’t one ski paddler, rower or sweep that didn’t say that was one of the scariest and toughest events they have done.

Big thanks to all that supported the crews on the weekend - it was a cold one for sure!

And a huge thank you to Albany SLSC for putting on yet another fantastic event.
