Age Group Manager: Brett McCarthy and Kellie Jones

Welcome to the 2009/2010 season for the Under 9s. Brett McCarthy and Kellie Jones are the age group managers for Under 9s this year. Brett is a patrolling member of the club and has two daughters in nippers, one in the Under 9s. This is Brett’s third year as an age group manager and Kellie has had experience as an age group manager with her former club on the Gold Coast. The kids will hopefully have lots of fun each Sunday morning and continue to learn and improve their surf skills. They will participate in all the areas with particular emphasis on water events.

They should really start to gain some confidence in the water this year, particularly on the boards. We will also be doing plenty of beach sprints, flags and relays as well as some other fun games. Help from parents is always welcome.
