Welcome to the start of the 2009/10 season! If this is your first season with Cottesloe a special welcome to both juniors and parents, we hope this will be the start of a long association with Cottesloe. Over the last season, we as Under 12s got some outstanding results and we are hoping to build on that this season. The Under 13’s Age Group Managers for the season will be Russell Brown, Ric Skipworth and Tish Skipworth.
This season will not be all about run/swim and board events. We are hoping to bring more fun to surf club this year and have things like club sleep over’s and other activities outside surf club. I won’t kid you, we still want you guys to work hard at your training and achieve every goal you set yourself. With this in mind, this will be a big part of your training by setting some goals and achieving them through surf club. For the Under 13s that want to, we will be encouraging them to participate in the Club swim with the Senior members of the Club each Sunday. This includes us, your age group managers! We will be there right beside you and this usually occurs at about 10:30am straight after the regular beach session finishes.
