Welcome to the start of the 2009/10 season! If this is your first season with Cottesloe a special welcome to both juniors and parents, we hope this will be the start of a long association with Cottesloe. Over the season we hope that the Under 12s will enjoy themselves in a fun environment whilst developing their water safety and beach skills. The Under 12 Age Group Managers for the season will be Anthony Whelan and Dean Davidson. In addition to being Patrolling Members both Anthony and Dean have been Age Group Managers in previous seasons and also have children in the Under 12s as well as other age groups.

Some of the activities we will be doing on Sunday mornings will include sprints, flag races, marching, swimming and board practise. We encourage all the Under 12s to participate and to do their best. For the Under 12s that want to we will be encouraging them to participate in the Club swim with the senior members of the Club each Sunday. This usually occurs at about 10:30am, straight after the regular beach session finishes. All parents are  welcome to join in the swim each week with us. Parent help is always welcome whether it is setting up flag races, sprint line finishes, water safety or just making sure the Under 12s are generally safe both in and out of the water (and not wandering off!).
