I’ve had the privilege of growing up down at Cottesloe beach, attending “club” with my brothers Andrew and of course our Club President, Richard, going through the stages of nippers, getting my bronze medallion and being active on patrols. Last season I became one of the Minnows AGM’s along with Wesley (who was also a nipper on Cott beach) and Brett.

I have a daughter Azure who is 6 and is a proud Cottesloe wearer of the bright green minnows cap! I was so impressed last season with the skills the kids had achieved by the finish of club! I was also sad to see faces move on up to red caps, but am looking forward to seeing old faces and new ones back down the beach on Sunday mornings.
