The Club
Cottesloe SLSC has worked hard over many years to source the funds required to build the existing clubhouse, located atop Mudurup Rocks at the southern end of the beach. The clubhouse comprises a grassed courtyard, the “Cott Cafe”, a fully equipped gym, training room, change rooms and an administration office on the ground level.
The upper level features the spacious Don Morrison room with spectacular views, outdoor deck, toilets, bar and kitchen, as well as the smaller Pines Room. Both rooms are available for function hire and bookings are taken by contacting the Administration Officer.
The club’s boat shed and first aid room are located under the Indiana Tea House. This area is used to store surf boats, IRBs (Inflatable Rescue Boats), patrol equipment, boards and skis. The boat shed is also the site from which surf patrols operate.
Cottesloe SLSC is active in both winter and summer, however the summer period represents the period of most activity, spanning from the beginning of October through to the end of March the following year. Our winter activities happen Sunday mornings during May – September for those who are keen.
Many members visit the club all year round, including early morning swimmings and gym users. Paddlers and boat crews are often training in the afternoon and evenings.
